John Shaqi

حَدَّثَنِي يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ يَقْطِينٍ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ عَبْداً صَالِحاً ( عليه السلام ) عَنِ الْقُنُوتِ فِي الْوَتْرِ وَ الْفَجْرِ وَ مَا يُجْهَرُ فِيهِ قَبْلَ الرُّكُوعِ أَوْ بَعْدَهُ فَقَالَ قَبْلَ الرُّكُوعِ حِينَ تَفْرُغُ مِنْ قِرَاءَتِكَ .


Translation

Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Al Husayn Bin Saeed who said, ‘Yaqoub Bin Yaqteen narrated to me saying, ‘I asked Abu Al-Salih<sup>asws</sup> (7<sup>th</sup> Imam<sup>asws</sup>) about the <span class="iTxt">Qunut</span> during Al-Witr (<span class="iTxt">Salāt</span>), and Al-Fajr (<span class="iTxt">Salāt</span>), and what is to be said loudly in it, before the <span class="iTxt">Rukū</span> and after it’. So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Before the <span class="iTxt">Rukū</span> when you are free from your recitation’.
