سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يُصَلِّي وَ لَا يَدْرِي وَاحِدَةً صَلَّى أَمْ ثِنْتَيْنِ قَالَ يَسْتَقْبِلُ حَتَّى يَسْتَيْقِنَ أَنَّهُ قَدْ أَتَمَّ وَ فِي الْجُمُعَةِ وَ فِي الْمَغْرِبِ وَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ فِي السَّفَرِ .
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Hammad, from Hareyz, from Muhammad Bin Muslim who said, ‘I asked Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> about the man who prays a <span class="iTxt">Salāt</span> and he does not know whether he has prayed one or two (<span class="iTxt">Rak’at</span>). He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘He should re-commence until he is convinced that he has completed – and in the Friday (<span class="iTxt">Salāt</span>), and in Al-Maghrib, and in the <span class="iTxt">Salāt</span> during the journey’.
