John Shaqi

إِذَا لَمْ تَدْرِ خَمْساً صَلَّيْتَ أَمْ أَرْبَعاً فَاسْجُدْ سَجْدَتَيِ السَّهْوِ بَعْدَ تَسْلِيمِكَ وَ أَنْتَ جَالِسٌ ثُمَّ سَلِّمْ بَعْدَهُمَا .


Translation

Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Hammad Bin Isa, from Shuayb, from Abu Baseer, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘When you do not know whether you have prayed five (<span class="iTxt">Rak’at</span>) or four, so perform <span class="iTxt">Sajdah</span> with two <span class="iTxt">Sujūd</span> of the omission (<span class="iTxt">Sajd Al-Sah’w</span>) after your offering <span class="iTxt">Salām</span>, while you are seated. Then offer <span class="iTxt">Salām</span> (again) after these two (<span class="iTxt">Sujūd</span>)’.
