قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَوْلُ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ لا تَقْرَبُوا الصَّلاةَ وَ أَنْتُمْ سُكارى فَقَالَ سُكْرُ النَّوْمِ .
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Hammad Bin Isa, from Al Husayn Bin Al Mukhtar, from Abu Asama Zayd Al Shahaam who said, ‘I said to Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup>, ‘(What about) the Words of Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:4#h43"><a href="/books/quran:4#h43">[4:43]</a></a> O you who believe! Do not go near the Prayer when you are Intoxicated</span>?’ So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘The sleep’.
