وَ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ فِي رَجُلَيْنِ اخْتَلَفَا فَقَالَ أَحَدُهُمَا كُنْتُ إِمَامَكَ وَ قَالَ الْآخَرُ أَنَا كُنْتُ إِمَامَكَ فَقَالَ صَلَاتُهُمَا تَامَّةٌ قُلْتُ فَإِنْ قَالَ كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمَا كُنْتُ أَئْتَمُّ بِكَ قَالَ صَلَاتُهُمَا فَاسِدَةٌ وَ لْيَسْتَأْنِفَا .
Translation
And by this chain, ‘With regards to two men differing, so one of them says, ‘I was your Imam’, and the other one says, ‘I was your Imam’, so he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Both of their <span class="iTxt">Salāt</span> are complete’. So I said, ‘Supposing each one of them says, ‘I was following you’. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Both their <span class="iTxt">Salāt</span> are spoilt, and let them both resume’.
