قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) جُعِلْتُ فِدَاكَ يَسْبِقُنِي الْإِمَامُ بِالرَّكْعَةِ فَتَكُونُ لِي وَاحِدَةٌ وَ لَهُ ثِنْتَانِ فَأَتَشَهَّدُ كُلَّمَا قَعَدْتُ فَقَالَ نَعَمْ فَإِنَّمَا التَّشَهُّدُ بَرَكَةٌ .
Translation
Ali Bin Muhammad, and Muhammad Bin Al Hassan, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Abu Nasr, from Al Maysami, from Is’haq Bin Yazeed who said, ‘I said to Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup>, ‘May I be sacrificed for you<sup>asws</sup>! The Imam is ahead of me by the one <span class="iTxt">Rak’at</span>, so it happens to be one for me and for him being two. So, should I perform <span class="iTxt">Tashahhud</span> every time I sit?’ So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Yes, for rather, the <span class="iTxt">Tashahhud</span> is a Blessing’.
