سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الْمَرِيضِ إِذَا لَمْ يَسْتَطِعِ الْقِيَامَ وَ السُّجُودَ قَالَ يُومِئُ بِرَأْسِهِ إِيمَاءً وَ أَنْ يَضَعَ جَبْهَتَهُ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ .
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Hammad, from Al Halby, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup>, said, ‘I asked him<sup>asws</sup> about the sick when he has no capacity for standing, and the <span class="iTxt">Sajdah</span>. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘He can gesture by his head, and if he were to place his forehead upon the ground, it would be more beloved to me<sup>asws</sup>’.
