اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ الَّذِينَ يَذْكُرُونَ اللَّهَ قِياماً وَ قُعُوداً وَ عَلى جُنُوبِهِمْ قَالَ الصَّحِيحُ يُصَلِّي قَائِماً وَ قُعُوداً الْمَرِيضُ يُصَلِّي جَالِساً وَ عَلى جُنُوبِهِمْ الَّذِي يَكُونُ أَضْعَفَ مِنَ الْمَرِيضِ الَّذِي يُصَلِّي جَالِساً .
Translation
Ali, from his father, from Ibn Mahboub, from Abu Hamza, (It has been narrated) from Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> regarding the Words of Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:3#h191"><a href="/books/quran:3#h191">[3:191]</a></a> Those who remember Allah standing and sitting and lying on their sides</span>. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘The healthy would pray <span class="iTxt">Salāt</span> standing, ‘<span class="ibTxt">and sitting</span>’ are the sick praying <span class="iTxt">Salāt</span> seated, and ‘<span class="ibTxt">lying on their sides</span>’ are those who happen to be weaker than the sick who pray <span class="iTxt">Salāt</span> seated’.
