Translation
Al Husayn Bin Muhammad, from Moalla Bin Muhammad, from Al Washa, from Hammad Bin Usman, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullahasws regarding the Words of Allahazwj Mighty and Majestic <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:2#h173"><a href="/books/quran:2#h173">[2:173]</a></a> but whoever is driven to necessity, not desiring, nor exceeding the limit</span>. Heasws said: ‘The ‘desiring’ is the one who desires the hunting, and the ‘exceeding’ is the thief. It is not for these two that they should be eating the dead when they are desperate to it. It is Prohibited upon them both. It is not upon them just as it is upon the Muslims, and it is not for them that they should be shortening in the <span class="iTxt">Salāt</span>’.
