سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ فِي السَّفِينَةِ فَقَالَ إِذَا كَانَتْ مُحَمَّلَةً ثَقِيلَةً إِذَا قُمْتَ فِيهَا لَمْ تَحَرَّكْ فَصَلِّ قَائِماً وَ إِنْ كَانَتْ خَفِيفَةً تَكَفَّأُ فَصَلِّ قَاعِداً .
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Muhammad Bin Al Husayn, from Yazeed Bin Is’haq, from Haroun Bin Hamza Al Ganawy, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup>, said, ‘I asked him<sup>asws</sup> about the <span class="iTxt">Salāt</span> in the ship, so he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘If it was a heavy carrier (such that) when you stand in it, it does not move, so pray <span class="iTxt">Salāt</span> standing; but if it was a light (carrier), rolling, so pray <span class="iTxt">Salāt</span> seated’.
