John Shaqi

سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) عَنْ أَفْضَلِ مَا جَرَتْ بِهِ السُّنَّةُ مِنَ الصَّلَاةِ فَقَالَ تَمَامُ الْخَمْسِينَ . وَ رَوَى الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ مِثْلَهُ .


Translation

Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Muhammad Bin Sinan, from Ibn Muskan, from Muhammad Bin Abu Umeyr who said, ‘I asked Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> about the most superior of what the Sunnah has flowed with, from the <span class="iTxt">Salāt</span>. So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘The complete fifty (<span class="iTxt">Rak’at</span> and one while sitting- so 51 in total)’. And it is reported by Al-Husayn Bin Saeed, from Muhammad Bin Sinan – similar to it.
