عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ هَلْ يَسْتَوِي الَّذِينَ يَعْلَمُونَ وَ الَّذِينَ لا يَعْلَمُونَ إِنَّما يَتَذَكَّرُ أُولُوا الْأَلْبابِ قَالَ نَحْنُ الَّذِينَ يَعْلَمُونَ وَ عَدُوُّنَا الَّذِينَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ وَ شِيعَتُنَا أُولُو الْأَلْبَابِ .

ہمارے بہت سے اصحاب نے احمد بن محمد سے، انہوں نے حسین بن سعید سے، انہوں نے نضر بن سوید سے، انہوں نے جابر سے، انہوں نے ابو جعفر علیہ السلام سے اللہ عزوجل کے اس قول کے بارے میں: 'کیا جاننے والے اور نہ جاننے والے برابر ہوتے ہیں؟ بس عقل والے ہی نصیحت قبول کرتے ہیں۔' آپ نے فرمایا: 'ہم وہ ہیں جو جانتے ہیں، اور ہمارے دشمن وہ ہیں جو نہیں جانتے، اور ہمارے شیعہ عقل والے ہیں۔'
Translation
A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Al Husayn Bin Saeed, from Al Nazar Bin Suweyd, from Jabir, (It has been narrated) from Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> regarding the Words of the Mighty and Majestic <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:39#h9"><a href="/books/quran:39#h9">[39:9]</a></a> Are those who ae knowing and those who are not knowing alike? But rather, it is the ones of understanding who are mindful</span>. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘We<sup>asws</sup> are those who are knowing, and our<sup>asws</sup> enemies are those who are not knowing, and our<sup>asws</sup> Shias are the ones of understanding’.
