الْوَتْرِ هَلْ فِيهِ شَيْءٌ مُوَقَّتٌ يُتَّبَعُ وَ يُقَالُ فَقَالَ لَا أَثْنِ عَلَى اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ وَ صَلِّ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) وَ اسْتَغْفِرْ لِذَنْبِكَ الْعَظِيمِ ثُمَّ قَالَ كُلُّ ذَنْبٍ عَظِيمٌ .
Translation
Ali, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Hammad, from Al-Halby, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having been asked about the <span class="iTxt">Qunut</span> in <span class="iTxt">Al-Witr </span>(Salāt), ‘Is there anything fixed to be followed and said?’ So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘No. Laud upon Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic and send Blessings upon the Prophet<sup>saww</sup>, and seek Forgiveness for your grievous sins’. Then he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Every sin is grievous’.
