مَا فَرَضَ اللَّهُ عَلَى هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ شَيْئاً أَشَدَّ عَلَيْهِمْ مِنَ الزَّكَاةِ وَ فِيهَا تَهْلِكُ عَامَّتُهُمْ .

ہمارے بہت سے اصحاب نے سہل بن زیاد سے، انہوں نے احمد بن محمد بن ابی نصر سے، انہوں نے حماد بن عثمان سے، انہوں نے رفاعہ بن موسیٰ سے روایت کی کہ انہوں نے ابو عبد اللہ علیہ السلام کو یہ فرماتے سنا: اللہ نے اس امت پر زکوٰة سے زیادہ سخت کوئی چیز فرض نہیں کی، اور اسی کی وجہ سے ان کے عام لوگ ہلاک ہو جاتے ہیں۔
Translation
A number of our companions, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Abu Nasr, from hammad Bin Usman, from Rifa’at Bin Musa that, ‘He heard Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> saying: ‘Allah<sup>azwj</sup> has not Necessitated upon this community anything more difficult upon them than the <span class="iTxt">Zakāt</span>, and regarding it the common folk get destroyed’.
