John Shaqi

سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) وَ سَأَلَهُ بَعْضُهُمْ عَنِ الْحُلِيِّ فِيهِ زَكَاةٌ فَقَالَ لَا وَ لَوْ بَلَغَ مِائَةَ أَلْفٍ .


Translation

Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Rifa’at who said, ‘I heard Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> and one of them have asked him<sup>asws</sup> about the ornaments whether there is <span class="iTxt">Zakāt</span> regarding it. So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘No, and even if it (value) were to reached one hundred thousand’.
