قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ( عليه السلام ) فِي قَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى إِنَّ فِي ذلِكَ لَآياتٍ لِلْمُتَوَسِّمِينَ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) الْمُتَوَسِّمَ وَ أَنَا مِنْ بَعْدِهِ وَ الْأَئِمَّةُ مِنْ ذُرِّيَّتِي الْمُتَوَسِّمُونَ . وَ فِي نُسْخَةٍ أُخْرَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ أَيُّوبَ بِإِسْنَادِهِ مِثْلَهُ .

محمد بن یحییٰ، محمد بن الحسین سے، محمد بن اسلم سے، ابراہیم بن ایوب سے، عمرو بن شمر سے، جابر سے، ابو جعفر (عليه السلام) سے روایت کرتے ہیں، جنہوں نے فرمایا: امیر المؤمنین (عليه السلام) نے اس کے بارے میں فرمایا، جو اس کے، بلند و برتر کے، قول میں ہے: بے شک اس میں بصیرت رکھنے والوں کے لیے نشانیاں ہیں۔ انہوں نے فرمایا: رسول اللہ (صلى الله عليه وآله) ہی متوسّم تھے، اور ان کے بعد میں ہوں، اور میری اولاد میں سے ائمہ متوسّم ہیں۔ اور ایک دوسری نقل میں: احمد بن میران سے، محمد بن علی سے، محمد بن اسلم سے، ابراہیم بن ایوب سے، اپنی سند کے ساتھ، اسی کی مانند۔
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Muhammad Bin Al Husayn, from Muhammad Bin Aslam, from Ibrahim Bin Ayoub, from Amro Bin Shimr, from Jabir, (It has been narrated) from Abu Ja’far<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> having said: ‘Amir Al-<span class="iTxt">Momineen</span><sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> said: ‘Regarding the Words of the Exalted <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:15#h75"><a href="/books/quran:15#h75">[15:75]</a></a> Surely, in this are Signs for the distinguishers (of the marks)</span>. He<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> said: ‘Rasool-Allah<sup style="font-weight: normal">saww</sup> is the distinguisher, and I<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> from after him<sup style="font-weight: normal">saww</sup>, and the Imams<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> from my<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> offspring are the distinguishers’. <span style="font-size: small">And in another copy, from Ahmad Bin Mihran, from Muhammad Bin Ali, from Muhammad Bin Aslam, from Ibrahim Bin Ayoub, by his chain </span>– similar to it.
