سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) عَنْ قَوْلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ اعْمَلُوا فَسَيَرَى اللَّهُ عَمَلَكُمْ وَ رَسُولُهُ وَ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ قَالَ هُمُ الْأَئِمَّةُ .

ہمارے بعض اصحاب نے، احمد بن محمد سے، انہوں نے حسین بن سعید سے، انہوں نے نضر بن سوید سے، انہوں نے یحییٰ الحلبی سے، انہوں نے عبد الحمید الطائی سے، انہوں نے یعقوب بن شعیب سے روایت کی، جنہوں نے کہا: میں نے ابا عبد اللہ علیہ السلام سے اللہ عز و جل کے اس قول کے بارے میں پوچھا: “عمل کرو؛ پھر اللہ تمہارے اعمال کو دیکھے گا، اور اس کا رسول، اور مومن۔” انہوں نے علیہ السلام فرمایا: “وہ ائمہ ہیں۔”
Translation
A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Al Husayn Bin Saeed, from Al Nazar Bin Suweyd, from Yahya Al Halby, from Abdul Al Hameed Al Tai’y, from Yaqoub Bin Shuayb who said, ‘I asked Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> about the Words of Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:9#h105"><a href="/books/quran:9#h105">[9:105]</a></a> And say: Work; so Allah will See your work and (so will) His Rasool and the Believers</span>. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘They (the Believers) are the Imams<sup>asws</sup>’.
