Translation

Muhammad Bin Ismail, from Al Fazl Bin Shazaan, from Safwan Bin Yahya, from Mansour Bin Hazim, from Abu Al Rabih Al Shamu, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullahasws regarding a man who buys goods, so the goods become unsalable upon him, and he had already purified (paid <span class="iTxt">Zakāt</span> of) his wealth before having purchased it. Is there <span class="iTxt">Zakāt</span> upon him, or until (after) he sells it?’ So heasws said: ‘If he withheld it in order to seek the extra upon the capital wealth (from the price rise), so upon him is the <span class="iTxt">Zakāt</span>’.
