John Shaqi

سَأَلَهُ بَعْضُ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ رَجُلٍ اشْتَرَى أَبَاهُ مِنَ الزَّكَاةِ زَكَاةِ مَالِهِ قَالَ اشْتَرَى خَيْرَ رَقَبَةٍ لَا بَأْسَ بِذَلِكَ .


Translation

A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Al Hassan Bin Mahboub, from Abu Muhammad Al Wabishy, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup>, said, ‘One of our companions asked him<sup>asws</sup> about a man who buys his own father (who was a slave), from the <span class="iTxt">Zakāt</span>, the <span class="iTxt">Zakāt</span> of his wealth’. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘he has bought the best of slave. There is no problem with it’.
