Translation

Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Hammad Bin Isa, from Hareyz, from Zurara who said, ‘I said to Abu Abdullahasws, ‘The <span class="iTxt">Zakāt</span> became due upon the man, and his father died, and upon him was a debt. Can he pay the <span class="iTxt">Zakāt</span> regarding the debt of his father, and for his son there is a lot of wealth?’ So heasws said: ‘If it was so that his father had made him to inherit wealth, then a debt manifested upon him, if he did not know it in that day, so he can fulfil it on his behalf from the entirety of the inheritance, and he should not fulfil it from his <span class="iTxt">Zakāt</span>. And if he did not happen to have inherited wealth, there will not happen to be anything more deserving of his <span class="iTxt">Zakāt</span> than the debts of his father. So when he does pay it regarding the debts of his father, upon this state, he would be suffice from it’.
