John Shaqi

قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) الرَّجُلُ يُعْطَى الزَّكَاةَ يَقْسِمُهَا فِي أَصْحَابِهِ أَ يَأْخُذُ مِنْهَا شَيْئاً قَالَ نَعَمْ .


Translation

Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Ali Bin Al Hakam, from Aban Bin Usman, from Saeed Bin Yasaar who said, ‘I said to Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup>, ‘The man is given the <span class="iTxt">Zakāt</span> to distribute it among his companions. Can he take anything from it (for himself)?’ He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Yes’.
