قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) دَاوُوا مَرْضَاكُمْ بِالصَّدَقَةِ وَ ادْفَعُوا الْبَلَاءَ بِالدُّعَاءِ وَ اسْتَنْزِلُوا الرِّزْقَ بِالصَّدَقَةِ فَإِنَّهَا تُفَكُّ مِنْ بَيْنِ لُحِيِّ سَبْعِمِائَةِ شَيْطَانٍ وَ لَيْسَ شَيْءٌ أَثْقَلَ عَلَى الشَّيْطَانِ مِنَ الصَّدَقَةِ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِ وَ هِيَ تَقَعُ فِي يَدِ الرَّبِّ تَبَارَكَ وَ تَعَالَى قَبْلَ أَنْ تَقَعَ فِي يَدِ الْعَبْدِ .

علی بن محمد نے احمد بن محمد سے، انہوں نے محمد بن خالد سے، انہوں نے عبد اللہ بن قاسم سے، انہوں نے عبد اللہ بن سنان سے روایت کی کہ: ابو عبد اللہ علیہ السلام نے فرمایا: 'اپنے بیماروں کا علاج صدقے سے کرو، بلاؤں کو دعا سے دور کرو، اور رزق کو صدقے سے نازل کراؤ۔ بے شک یہ سات سو شیاطین کی داڑھوں کے درمیان سے گزرتا ہے، اور شیطان پر مومن کو دیے گئے صدقے سے بھاری کوئی چیز نہیں، اور یہ پروردگار تبارک و تعالیٰ کے ہاتھ میں گرتا ہے اس سے پہلے کہ بندے کے ہاتھ میں پہنچے۔'
Translation
Ali Bin Muhammad, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Muhammad Bin Khalid, from Abdullah Bin Al Qasim, from Abdullah Bin Sinan who said, ‘Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Treat your sick ones with the charity and repel the afflictions with the supplication, and cause the sustenance to descend with the charity. Charity finds its way through the beards of seven hundred devils, and there is nothing heavier upon the Satan<sup>la</sup> than the charity upon the Believer, and it falls into the Hand of the Lord<sup>azwj</sup> Blessed and High before it falls into the hand of the servant’.
