Translation

A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Abu Abdullah, from Muhammad Bin Ali, from Muhammad Bin Umar Bin Yazeed who said, ‘I informed Abu Al-Hassan Al-Rezaasws that I have been hit by (the death of) two sons, and there remains for me one young son. So heasws said: ‘Give charity on his behalf’. Then heasws said when I was about to arise, ‘Instruct the child so let him give the charity with his own hands, with the bread, and the handful (of foodstuff), and the thing, be it little, for everything by which Allahazwj is intended even though it may be little after the sincerity of the intention in it, is great. Allahazwj Mighty and Majestic is Saying <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:99#h7"><a href="/books/quran:99#h7">[99:7]</a></a> So, he who has done a little of good shall see it <a href="/#/books/quran:9#h8"><a href="/books/quran:9#h8">[9:8]</a></a> And he who has done a little of evil shall see it</span>’. And Heazwj Said <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:90#h11"><a href="/books/quran:90#h11">[90:11]</a></a> But he would not attempt the uphill road, <a href="/#/books/quran:90#h12"><a href="/books/quran:90#h12">[90:12]</a></a> And what will make you comprehend what the uphill road is? <a href="/#/books/quran:90#h13"><a href="/books/quran:90#h13">[90:13]</a></a> (It is) the setting free of a slave, <a href="/#/books/quran:90#h14"><a href="/books/quran:90#h14">[90:14]</a></a> Or the giving of food in a day of hunger <a href="/#/books/quran:90#h15"><a href="/books/quran:90#h15">[90:15]</a></a> To an orphan, having relationship, <a href="/#/books/quran:90#h16"><a href="/books/quran:90#h16">[90:16]</a></a> Or to the poor man lying in the dust</span>. Allahazwj Mighty and Majestic Knows that everyone is not able upon freeing a neck, so Heazwj Made feeding the orphan and the poor as being similar to that. Give charity on his behalf’.
