قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) صَدَقَةُ السِّرِّ تُطْفِئُ غَضَبَ الرَّبِّ .

ہمارے اصحاب کی ایک جماعت نے سہل بن زیاد سے، انہوں نے جعفر بن محمد الاشعری سے، انہوں نے ابن القداح سے، انہوں نے ابو عبداللہ سے، انہوں نے اپنے والد علیہ السلام سے روایت کی کہ انہوں نے فرمایا: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ نے فرمایا: پوشیدہ صدقہ رب کے غضب کو بجھا دیتا ہے۔
Translation
A number of our companions, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Ja’far Bin Muhammad Al Ashary, from Ibn Al Qadah, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup>, from his<sup>asws</sup> father<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup> said: ‘The secretive charity extinguishes the Anger of the Lord<sup>azwj</sup>’.
