John Shaqi

سَمِعْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ ( عليه السلام ) يَقُولُ إِنَّ مِنْ أَحَبِّ عِبَادِ اللَّهِ إِلَى اللَّهِ لَمَنْ حَبَّبَ إِلَيْهِ الْمَعْرُوفَ وَ حَبَّبَ إِلَيْهِ فَعَالَهُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ دَاوُدَ الرَّقِّيِّ عَنْ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ( عليه السلام ) مِثْلَهُ .


Translation

A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Abu Abdullah, from Al Hassan Bin Ali Bin Yaqteen, from Muhammad Bin Sinan, from Dawood Al Raqqy, from Abu Hamza Al Sumaly who said, ‘I heard Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> saying: ‘To Allah<sup>azwj</sup>, the most Beloved of servants of Allah<sup>azwj</sup> is the one who loves the acts of kindness and carrying out is beloved to him’. Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Isa, from Muhammad Bin Sinan, from Dawood Al Raqqy, from Abu Hamza, (It has been narrated) from Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> – similar to it’.
