قُلْتُ لَهُ مَا حَدُّ السَّخَاءِ فَقَالَ تُخْرِجُ مِنْ مَالِكَ الْحَقَّ الَّذِي أَوْجَبَهُ اللَّهُ عَلَيْكَ فَتَضَعُهُ فِي مَوْضِعِهِ .
Translation
A number of our companions, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Al Hassan Bin Mahboub, from one of our companions, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup>, said, ‘I said to him<sup>asws</sup>, ‘What is a limit of the generosity?’ So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘It is what comes out from the owner of the right which Allah<sup>azwj</sup> has Obligated upon you, so you place it in its (appropriate) place’.
