John Shaqi

السَّخِيُّ يَأْكُلُ طَعَامَ النَّاسِ لِيَأْكُلُوا مِنْ طَعَامِهِ وَ الْبَخِيلُ لَا يَأْكُلُ مِنْ طَعَامِ النَّاسِ لِئَلَّا يَأْكُلُوا مِنْ طَعَامِهِ .


Translation

Ali Bin Ibrahim, from Yasser Al Khadim, (It has been narrated) from Abu Al-Hassan Al-Reza<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘The generous one eats the food of the people so that they would be eating from his food; and the stingy one does not eat from the food of the people so that perhaps they might eat from his food’.
