قَالَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ صَلَوَاتُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِمَا لِيُنْفِقِ الرَّجُلُ بِالْقَصْدِ وَ بُلْغَةِ الْكَفَافِ وَ يُقَدِّمُ مِنْهُ فَضْلًا لآِخِرَتِهِ فَإِنَّ ذَلِكَ أَبْقَى لِلنِّعْمَةِ وَ أَقْرَبُ إِلَى الْمَزِيدِ مِنَ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ وَ أَنْفَعُ فِي الْعَافِيَةِ .
Translation
A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, and Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Ibn Mahboub, from Jameel Bin Salih, from Bureyd Bin Muawiya, (It has been narrated) from Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Ali<sup>asws</sup> Bin Al-Husayn<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Let the man spend with the moderation, and (upon) acquiring the subsistence, and he should forward the extra from it for his Hereafter, for that is more lasting for the Bounties, and closer to the increase from Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic, and more beneficial regarding the good health’.
