اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ وَ يَسْئَلُونَكَ ما ذا يُنْفِقُونَ قُلِ الْعَفْوَ قَالَ الْعَفْوُ الْوَسَطُ .
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from one of his companions, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> regarding the Words of Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:2#h219"><a href="/books/quran:2#h219">[2:219]</a></a> And they ask you as to what they should spend. Say: Whatever you can spare</span>. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘The ‘spare’, is the middle (neither too little nor too much)’.
