Translation
Ali, from his father, and Muhammad Bin Ismail, from Al Fazl Bin Shazaan, altogether from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from one of our companions, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullahasws having said: ‘Allahazwj Might and Majestic Revealed unto Musaas: “What prevents youas from whispering to Meazwj?’ So heas said: ‘O Lordazwj! Ias delayed from the whispering due to the smell of the mouth of a Fasting-one’. So Allahazwj Mighty and Majestic Revealed unto himas: “O Musaas! The smell of a mouth of a Fasting one is more aromatic in Myazwj Presence than the smell of musk’.
