هِ تُقَسَّمُ الْأَرْزَاقُ وَ تُكْتَبُ الْآجَالُ وَ فِيهِ يُكْتَبُ وَفْدُ اللَّهِ الَّذِينَ يَفِدُونَ إِلَيْهِ وَ فِيهِ لَيْلَةٌ الْعَمَلُ فِيهَا خَيْرٌ مِنَ الْعَمَلِ فِي أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ .

احمد بن ادریس نے محمد بن عبد الجبار سے، انہوں نے صفوان سے، انہوں نے اسحاق بن عمار سے، انہوں نے مسمعی سے روایت کی کہ انہوں نے ابو عبد اللہ علیہ السلام کو سنا اپنی اولاد کو وصیت کرتے ہوئے: 'جب ماہ رمضان داخل ہو تو اپنے نفسوں کو مشقت میں ڈالو، کیونکہ اس میں رزق تقسیم ہوتے ہیں، اجلیں لکھی جاتی ہیں، اور اس میں اللہ کے وفد — جو اس کی طرف جاتے ہیں — کا نام لکھا جاتا ہے، اور اس میں ایک رات ہے جس میں عمل ہزار مہینوں کے عمل سے بہتر ہے۔'
Translation
Ahmad Bin Idrees, from Muhammad Bin Abdul Jabbar, from Safwan, from Is’haq Bin Ammar, from Al Misma’a having heard, ‘Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> advised his<sup>asws</sup> children: ‘When the Month of Ramazan enters (begins), so struggle yourselves, for therein is the distribution of the livelihoods, and the terms (life spans) are written (Ordained), and therein is written (Ordained) the delegations of Allah<sup>azwj</sup> (Pilgrims of Hajj) who are going to Him<sup>azwj</sup>, and in it is a night, the good deed therein it is better than the deed in a thousand months’.
