سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) يَقُولُ صَوْمُ شَعْبَانَ وَ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ مُتَتَابِعَيْنِ تَوْبَةٌ مِنَ اللَّهِ وَ اللَّهِ
Translation
A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, and Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, altogether from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Salma Sahib Al Sabiry, from Abu Al Sabbah Al Kinany who said, ‘I heard Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> saying: ‘Fasting Shaban and Month of Ramazaan consecutively, is a (self) punishment from Allah<sup>azwj</sup>, by Allah<sup>azwj</sup>!’
