الصَّائِمُ يَسْتَنْقِعُ فِي الْمَاءِ وَ يَصُبُّ عَلَى رَأْسِهِ وَ يَتَبَرَّدُ بِالثَّوْبِ وَ يَنْضَحُ بِالْمِرْوَحَةِ وَ يَنْضَحُ الْبُورِيَاءَ تَحْتَهُ وَ لَا يَغْمِسُ رَأْسَهُ فِي الْمَاءِ .
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Muhammad Bin Al Husayn, from Ali Bin Al Hakam, from Al A’ala Bin Razeyn, from Muhammad Bin Muslim, (It has been narrated) from Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘The Fasting one can stay still in the water and he can pour water upon his head, and he can cool himself with the (wet) clothes, and he can sprinkle (cool himself) with the ventilator, and he can sprinkle (cool himself) with the blower beneath him, but he cannot immerse his head into the water (to cool himself)’.
