John Shaqi

اشْتَكَتْ أُمُّ سَلَمَةَ رَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهَا عَيْنَهَا فِي شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ فَأَمَرَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) أَنْ تُفْطِرَ وَ قَالَ عَشَاءُ اللَّيْلِ لِعَيْنِكِ رَدِيٌّ .


Translation

Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Al Husayn Bin Saeed, from Al Husayn Bin Usman, from Suleyman Bin Amro, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Umm Salma<sup>as</sup> complained about her<sup>as</sup> eyes during the Month of Ramazan, so Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup> instructed her<sup>as</sup> that she<sup>as</sup> breaks the Fast, and said: ‘Dinner (delayed until) night would destroy your<sup>as</sup> eyes’.
