سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يُدْرِكُهُ شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ فِي السَّفَرِ فَيُقِيمُ الْأَيَّامَ فِي الْمَكَانِ عَلَيْهِ صَوْمٌ قَالَ لَا حَتَّى يُجْمِعَ عَلَى مُقَامِ عَشَرَةِ أَيَّامٍ وَ إِذَا أَجْمَعَ عَلَى مُقَامِ عَشَرَةِ أَيَّامٍ صَامَ وَ أَتَمَّ الصَّلَاةَ قَالَ وَ سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يَكُونُ عَلَيْهِ أَيَّامٌ مِنْ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ وَ هُوَ مُسَافِرٌ يَقْضِي إِذَا أَقَامَ فِي الْمَكَانِ قَالَ لَا حَتَّى يُجْمِعَ عَلَى مُقَامِ عَشَرَةِ أَيَّامٍ .
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Al Amraky Bin Ali, (It has been narrated) from Ali son of Ja’far<sup>asws</sup>, from his brother<sup>asws</sup> Abu Al-Hassan<sup>asws</sup>, said, ‘I asked him<sup>asws</sup> about the man who sees a Month of Ramazan during the journey, so he stays a few days in the place, would there be Fasting upon him?’ He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘No, until he combines upon staying for ten days’.
