قَالَ لَا يَصْلُحُ لِلْمَرْأَةِ أَنْ تَصُومَ تَطَوُّعاً إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ زَوْجِهَا .
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Muhammad Bin Khalid, from Al Qasim Bin Urwa, from one of his companions, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘It is not correct for the wife that she Fasts the optional Fast except by the permission of her husband’.
