سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ صَدَقَةِ الْفِطْرَةِ أُعْطِيهَا غَيْرَ أَهْلِ وَلَايَتِي مِنْ فُقَرَاءِ جِيرَانِي قَالَ نَعَمْ الْجِيرَانُ أَحَقُّ بِهَا لِمَكَانِ الشُّهْرَةِ .
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from Muhammad Bin Isa, from Yunus, from Is’haq Bin Ammar, (It has been narrated) from Abu Ibrahim<sup>asws</sup> (7<sup>th</sup> Imam<sup>asws</sup>), said, ‘I asked him<sup>asws</sup> about charity of the Fitra, ‘Can I give it to other than the people of Wilayah (Shiah), from the poor ones of my neighbours?’ He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Yes. The neighbour is more rightful with it, due to the place (status) well known’.
