لَا اعْتِكَافَ إِلَّا بِصَوْمٍ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ الْجَامِعِ .
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Hammad, from Al Halby, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘There is no <span class="iTxt">Itikaaf</span> except with Fasting in the general Masjid’.
