قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) إِنَّ رَجُلًا اسْتَشَارَنِي فِي الْحَجِّ وَ كَانَ ضَعِيفَ الْحَالِ فَأَشَرْتُ إِلَيْهِ أَنْ لَا يَحُجَّ فَقَالَ مَا أَخْلَقَكَ أَنْ تَمْرَضَ سَنَةً قَالَ فَمَرِضْتُ سَنَةً .
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from a man, from Is’haq Bin Ammar who said, ‘I said to Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> that a man consulted me regarding the Hajj, and he was of the weak state. So I advised him that he should not perform Hajj’. So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘What is more weary than being sick for a year’. He (the narrator) said, ‘So I was sick for a year’.
