قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) وَطِّنْ نَفْسَكَ عَلَى حُسْنِ الصِّحَابَةِ لِمَنْ صَحِبْتَ فِي حُسْنِ خُلُقِكَ وَ كُفَّ لِسَانَكَ وَ اكْظِمْ غَيْظَكَ وَ أَقِلَّ لَغْوَكَ وَ تَفْرُشُ عَفْوَكَ وَ تَسْخُو نَفْسُكَ .
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Muawyia Bin Ammar who said, ‘Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Settle yourself upon good companionship with the one who accompanies you with in regard to good mannerisms; and restrain your tongue, and stifle your anger, and lessen your vanities, and roll out your forgiveness, and make yourself generous’.
