إِذَا صَحِبْتَ فَاصْحَبْ نَحْوَكَ وَ لَا تَصْحَبَنَّ مَنْ يَكْفِيكَ فَإِنَّ ذَلِكَ مَذَلَّةٌ لِلْمُؤْمِنِ .
Translation
Ali, from his father, from Hammad Bin Usman, from Hareyz, from the one who mentioned it, (It has been narrated) from Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘When you accompany, so accompany someone like you, and do not accompany the one who suffices (needless) from you, for in that, is humiliation for the Believer’.
