John Shaqi

قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) إِنَّ عَلَى ذِرْوَةِ كُلِّ جِسْرٍ شَيْطَانٌ فَإِذَا انْتَهَيْتَ إِلَيْهِ فَقُلْ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ يَرْحَلْ عَنْكَ .


Translation

Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Qasim Al Sayrafi, from Hafs Bin Al Qasim who said, ‘Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Upon the height of every bridge is a devil<sup>la</sup>. So whenever you end up to it, say, ‘In the Name of Allah<sup>azwj</sup>’, he<sup>la</sup> would move away from you’.
