اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ الْحَجُّ أَشْهُرٌ مَعْلُوماتٌ فَمَنْ فَرَضَ فِيهِنَّ الْحَجَّ وَ الْفَرْضُ التَّلْبِيَةُ وَ الْإِشْعَارُ وَ التَّقْلِيدُ فَأَيَّ ذَلِكَ فَعَلَ فَقَدْ فَرَضَ الْحَجَّ وَ لَا يُفْرَضُ الْحَجُّ إِلَّا فِي هَذِهِ الشُّهُورِ الَّتِي قَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ الْحَجُّ أَشْهُرٌ مَعْلُوماتٌ وَ هُوَ شَوَّالٌ وَ ذُو الْقَعْدَةِ وَ ذُو الْحِجَّةِ .
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, and Muhammad Bin Ismail, from Al Fazl Bin Shazaan, altogether from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Muawiya Bin Ammar, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> regarding the Words of Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:2#h197"><a href="/books/quran:2#h197">[2:197]</a></a> The Hajj is (performed in) the well-known months; so whoever determines the performance of the Hajj therein</span> – And the Obligations are the <span class="iTxt">Talbiyya</span>, and the Rituals, and leading the sacrificial animal. So whoever does that, so he has done that Hajj, and the Hajj is not done except during these months which Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic Says are <span class="ibTxt">the well-known months</span> – and these are Shawwal, and Zil-qadah, and Zil-Hijjaj’.
