سَأَلَهُ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ هِيتَ وَ أَنَا حَاضِرٌ عَنْ قَوْلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ وَ كَذلِكَ أَوْحَيْنا إِلَيْكَ رُوحاً مِنْ أَمْرِنا فَقَالَ مُنْذُ أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ ذَلِكَ الرُّوحَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) مَا صَعِدَ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ وَ إِنَّهُ لَفِينَا .

محمد بن یحیی، محمد بن الحسین سے، علی بن اسباط سے، اسباط بن سالم سے، انہوں نے کہا: ہیٹ کے لوگوں میں سے ایک شخص نے، جبکہ میں موجود تھا، ان سے پوچھا۔ اللہ، عز و جل، کے قول کے بارے میں: “اور اسی طرح ہم نے تمہاری طرف اپنے حکم سے ایک روح وحی کی۔” تو اس نے کہا: “جب سے اللہ، عز و جل، نے وہ روح محمد صلى الله عليه وآله پر نازل کی ہے، وہ آسمان کی طرف نہیں چڑھی، اور بے شک وہ ہمارے اندر ہے۔”
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Muhammad Bin Al Husayn, from Ali Bin Asbat, from Asbat Bin Salim who said, ‘A man from the people of Hayt asked him<sup>asws</sup> and I was present, about the Words of Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:42#h52"><a href="/books/quran:42#h52">[42:52]</a></a> And thus We Revealed to you a Spirit from Our Command</span>. So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Since Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic Sent down the Spirit unto Muhammad<sup>saww</sup>, it has not ascended to the sky, and it is within us<sup>asws</sup>’.
