John Shaqi

قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) يُحْرِمُ الرَّجُلُ فِي الثَّوْبِ الْأَسْوَدِ قَالَ لَا يُحْرِمُ فِي الثَّوْبِ الْأَسْوَدِ وَ لَا يُكَفَّنُ بِهِ الْمَيِّتُ .


Translation

A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Al Hassan Bin Ali, from Ahmad bin Aiz, from Al Husayn Bin Mukhtar who said, ‘I said to Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup>, ‘Can the man <span class="iTxt">Ihraam</span> himself in black cloth?’ He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘He cannot be <span class="iTxt">Ihraam</span>ed in black clothes, nor can the deceased be shrouded in it’.
