قُلْتُ لَهُ الْأُشْنَانُ فِيهِ الطِّيبُ أَغْسِلُ بِهِ يَدَيَّ وَ أَنَا مُحْرِمٌ قَالَ إِذَا أَرَدْتُمُ الْإِحْرَامَ فَانْظُرُوا مَزَاوِدَكُمْ فَاعْزِلُوا الَّذِي لَا تَحْتَاجُونَ إِلَيْهِ وَ قَالَ تَصَدَّقْ بِشَيْءٍ كَفَّارَةً لِلْأُشْنَانِ الَّذِي غَسَلْتَ بِهِ يَدَكَ .
Translation
Al Husayn Bin Muhammad, from Moalla Bin Muhammad, from Al Hassan Bin Ali, from Aban Bin Usman, from Al Hassan Bin Ziyad, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup>, said, ‘I said to him<sup>asws</sup>, ‘The potash wherein is the perfume, Can I wash my hands with it and I am in <span class="iTxt">Ihraam</span>?’ He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘When you intend to wear the <span class="iTxt">Ihraam</span>, so look into your provisions and isolate that which you are not going to be needy to’. And he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘You should give in charity with something as an expiration of the potash which you washed your hands with’.
