سَأَلْتُ أَبَا الْحَسَنِ ( عليه السلام ) عَنْ رَجُلٍ نَسِيَ أَنْ يُقَلِّمَ أَظْفَارَهُ عِنْدَ إِحْرَامِهِ قَالَ يَدَعُهَا قُلْتُ فَإِنَّ رَجُلًا مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا أَفْتَاهُ بِأَنْ يُقَلِّمَ أَظْفَارَهُ وَ يُعِيدَ إِحْرَامَهُ فَفَعَلَ قَالَ عَلَيْهِ دَمٌ يُهَرِيقُهُ .
Translation
Abu Ali Al Ashary, from Muhammad Bin Abdul Jabbar, from Safwan Bin Yahya, from Is’haq Bin Ammar who said, ‘I asked Abu Al-Hassan<sup>asws</sup> about a man who forgot to clip his nails during his wearing his <span class="iTxt">Ihraam</span>. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘He should let them be’. I said, ‘But a man from our companions issued a <span class="iTxt">fatwa</span> that if he cuts his nails, he should repeat his <span class="iTxt">Ihraam</span>. So he did’. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Upon him is blood (of a slaughtered animal) to be spilled’.
