John Shaqi

قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) الْمُحْرِمُ يَسْتَاكُ قَالَ نَعَمْ قُلْتُ فَإِنْ أَدْمَى يَسْتَاكُ قَالَ نَعَمْ هُوَ مِنَ السُّنَّةِ وَ رُوِيَ أَيْضاً لَا يَسْتَدْمِي .


Translation

Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Muawiya who said, ‘I said to Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup>, ‘The one in <span class="iTxt">Ihraam</span>, can he brush his teeth?’ He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Yes’. I said, ‘Supposing he brushes his teeth habitually (frequently)?’ He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Yes, it is from the Sunnah’. And it is reported that that he should not bleed.
