John Shaqi

لَا تَسْتَحِلَّنَّ شَيْئاً مِنَ الصَّيْدِ وَ أَنْتَ حَرَامٌ وَ لَا وَ أَنْتَ حَلَالٌ فِي الْحَرَمِ وَ لَا تَدُلَّنَّ عَلَيْهِ مُحِلًّا وَ لَا مُحْرِماً فَيَصْطَادُوهُ وَ لَا تُشِرْ إِلَيْهِ فَيُسْتَحَلَّ مِنْ أَجْلِكَ فَإِنَّ فِيهِ فِدَاءً لِمَنْ تَعَمَّدَهُ .


Translation

Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father and Muhammad Bin yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, altogether from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Hammad, from Al Halby, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘There is nothing Permissible from the hunting, and you are in <span class="iTxt">Ihraam</span>, nor if you are not in <span class="iTxt">Ihraam</span>, inside the <span class="iTxt">Harram</span>, nor can you point towards it, whether you are in <span class="iTxt">Ihraam</span> or not, so that it can be hunted, not can you mention it so that it would be permissible (to be hunted) due to you, for therein is a ransom for the one who deliberates to it’.
