سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الْجَرَادِ يَدْخُلُ مَتَاعَ الْقَوْمِ فَيَدُوسُونَهُ مِنْ غَيْرِ تَعَمُّدٍ لِقَتْلِهِ أَوْ يَمُرُّونَ بِهِ فِي الطَّرِيقِ فَيَطَئُونَهُ قَالَ إِنْ وَجَدْتَ مَعْدِلًا فَاعْدِلْ عَنْهُ فَإِنْ قَتَلْتَهُ غَيْرَ مُتَعَمِّدٍ فَلَا بَأْسَ .
Translation
Abu Ali Al Ashary, from Muhammad Bin Abdul Jabbar, from Safwan Bin Yahya, from Is’haq Bin Ammar, from Abu Baseer who said, ‘I asked him<sup>asws</sup> about the locusts entering the provisions of the people, so they are trampling it from without the intention of killing it, or they are passing by it in the road, so they are stepping on it. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘If you find avoidance, so avoid from it. But, if you were to kill it without deliberation, then there is no problem’.
